Let me show you the best Taiwan's Local Food that we ate during our trip.

**sorry for i dont know what exactly the restaurant's name and where exactly the restaurants are. haha..

im just not good at remembering Chinese names. hahaha. well. anyway..

1. Dumplings in Hua Lien City

2. Taiwan Hot Dog - i never ate such a yummy hotdog before.. *i swear. haha..

Its in one of the night market in Hua Lien City as well. but u can find it in other nightmarket as well.

Its wrapped by some sort like glutinous rice and the have other things like cucumber, pickles and chili, and some other things that i dont exactly know what that is.. but it is awesomely nice. hahahaha.

3. Fried pork ribs? hahaha.

intinya babi goreng dahh ini. ahhaah..

3. Cold Tofu and beef noodle when we were on our way to Taroko Gorge. =)

4. Local Handburger with pork? hahahahaa. This is sinfully delicious. ~.~

its somewhere in sun moon lake.

4. The most delicious beef noodle that ive ever tried. <3

named Lin Tong Fang in Ba De Lu Road in Taipei!

i love their chewy noodle and their beef and tendon that really melts in your mouth.

and plus their chili.

jadi critanya, hari rabu minggu lalu gw pergi ke painting auction yg bernama Borobudur auction.
dia jualan lukisan2 yg mostly inspired dari Bali, jadi isinya bnyk cw2 telanjang pake selendang gt. ato dancer bali, gt2 dehh.. haha..

tapi sangat amat disayangkan, gw bukan salah satu dr pembeli2 disana. hahaha.

gw iseng gt part time disana dngn beberapa temen gw yg laen. *Thanks to Jaclyn Indra for this opportunity.

jadi job scope gw disana adalah sebagai phone bidder.
dimana gw harus nelponin orng yg mau beli painting, tapi ga bisa datang ke auctionnya.
tapi ada bbrp orng juga yg ga mau di ketahui identitas.nya
jadi dia suruh kita (the phone bidder) untuk bid-in buat mereka.
*padahal mereka ada di ruangan itu bersama2 kita. ngerii yee booo.. haha..

yah, pokoknya gt dehh..

trus gw dpt list untuk telponin 1 om, yg bernama om Ferry ~lalalala~ *nama belakang di rahasiakan. haha.
dia itu mau ngebid painting nomor 21.
dan rule.nya kita itu, harus telpon si calon pembeli 5 nomor sebelum nomor mereka.

jadi gw telpon si om ini, pas di painting ke 17.
alhamdulilah nyambung dan di angkat. *klo ga jiper juga gw.. haha.
pas di angkat. eh dia ngomong gini donkk.

'Tolong telpon saya lagi yah, signal.nya jelek sekali nih"

akhirnya gw telpon lagi dia..

eh, pas process nelpon dia ulang.

kaga bisa nyambung donkkkk.. haduehhh.. padahal udah painting nomor 20, berarti bentar lagi painting yg dia mau yg mau di jual.*tangan mulai keringetan, jantung mulai berdebar. edan deh pokoknya..

sesampai.nya di painting nomor 21 ini pun. si om tidak bisa dihubungi.
lemes mendadak gw.
gw takut di omelin si om.nya soalnya ahuahua.

akhirnya. painting 21 pun lewat dngn harga yg cukup abnormal menurut gw.
gilee.. ada yg beli painting itu seharga SGD 260,000! ~.~

abis itu, si om yg sama mau beli painting ke 26. jadi gw pun msh berjuang untuk nelpon dia.

duhh.. puji Tuhan bngt nyambung dan di angkat! haha
akhirnya gw jelaskan deh kalo td ga nyambung2, dan painting no 21 udah kelewat.

untung gw ga di omelin, dan dia malah nyalahin signal.nya gara2 ga dpt itu painting. haha.

perjalanan nge-bid yg seru pun di mulai dsini,
ketika dia bersaing harga dngn bidde2 yg laen.

harga painting di buka dngn harga SGD 80,000.
makin naik tiap detik.nya.. dan darah gw pun makin naik ke kepala, gara2 gw deg2an. hahaha..
yah gmn ga deg2an coba, gw cuman di instruksikan via telepon. trus gw ga pernah tau om ini siapa.
dan makin lama makin gila bid.nyee.. ~.~

gw brasa.nya gw yg ngebid, brasa gw yg kluar duid. HAHAHHA. *lebay.

akhirnya pertarungan di painting 26 ini pun berakhir dngn 2 orng.
yaitu gw dan nesya (temen dekat gw sendiri) hahahha.

ini masa2 terseru gw di ruangan itu. liat2an sama nesya dan bilang sama s om
'bapak. tinggal 1 phone bidder lagi yg jadi saingan bapak'

dan si nesya pun pake acara raised2 eye brow ke gw. haha..

kita be2 pun teriak2an harga.

si om pun diam sejenak dan suruh gw nunggu buat fair warning *gw ga ngerti juga ini apa. ahhaha..

gw cuman bilang sama si om..

akhirnya dia bilang. 'yaudah! 200k!'

gw pun tereak. 200k!

akhirnya om gw pun memenangkan bid di painting ini. haha.

bener2 pengalaman baru dan seru bngt sih menurut gw.

worth the experience, time and money. hahaha.. *they pay me 200 SGD for 2 hours event. good money rite? haha.

anyway. yg beli2 painting disana semua kyk ga pake otak, edann..
ada yg beli painting sampe SGD 560k, bahkan ada yg sampe SGD 1 juta!! ~.~

mendingan gw beliin makanan buat anak2 terlantar dehh dari pada beli lukisann..

anyway lagi, kbanyakan orng indo lohh yg belii *pssttt..

mungkin biar ga ketauan Money Laundry kalii yeee, jadi di invest di lukisan. HAHHAAHHA..*sotoy.

weird dream

i just had a weird absurd bad dream.

critanya di mimpi ini. gw jadian dngn seorang cowo.
sebutlah si B.
di dalam mimpi ini, kita sudah lumayand lama jadian.
trus, pas new year's eve come.
kita nonton fireworks bareng2. *so sweet kan yah? haha.

ehh.. abis fireworks.nya selesai. gw di putusinn donkkk sama cowo gw ini.. ~.~.
weird kan?? ~.~.

setelah itu, kita pun berpisah.
gw critanya sedih bener dahh ci mimpi itu. nangis tiap hari dan lain2..

tiba2. temen baik gw.
yahh.. sebutlah si A.
tiba2 mendatangi gw and asked me to be his girlfriend.
ini udah mulai absurd. hahahaha..

dan gw trima si A ini..
yah, critanya buat obat sakit hati gw gtuhhh..

tapii.. 3 jam kemudian, gw di putusin sama si A ini.
dia bilangnya. 'gw mau bikin elo happy, tapi gw sadar. ini bukan cara.nya.'
matilahhh..
double sakit hati gitu gw critanya di mimpi. ahhahahha..

akhirnya gw jalan2 sendiri dan tiba2 ada trip buat naik hot air baloon buat keliling kota.
gw pun mendaftar.
tapi receptionist.nya bilang.
harus balik lagi 2 jam sebelum hot air baloon.nya terbang. buat pendaftaran ulang.

dan.. pas gw dateng lagi ksana..
ehhh.. udah tutup donkk.. *gw telat ceritanya.

alamakkk.. gw kesian bngt dehh di mimpi ini. haahhaha..

puji Tuhan hanyalah mimpi..

tapi karena mimpi ini.. gw ga bisa tidur lagiii donkkk.. ~.~

jam 6 pagi udah bngn.. trus ga bs tdr lagi. tapi ga bisa bangun fully juga, karena badan gw brasanya cape bngt. hauhaua..

alhasil skrng gw tepar bngt. walaupun kerjaan gw hari ini cuman nonton

SLINGERS vs INDONESIAN WARRIORS. (59-79) *INDO WON! hihihi.. gw akan crita ini di postingan berbeda dehh.. haha.

dan cuman masak2 dan gossip2 di rumah ci gill sambil nungguin cowo2 basket. haha.

okay.
i just went to Taiwan and Hongkong for the last 11 days of 2011.

and i think ill be a travel blogger for this month. haha.

so, let me start by introducing all the hotels that we stayed for this Oriental Trip. hihi.

the first day we arrived in Taipei, we stayed in Caesar Park Hotel.

its a 5* hotel, located at the heart of Taipei. It's basically above Taipei Main Station, and attached to a small shopping centre with a lot variation of foods below the hotel.

a very spacious room and free wifi at the hotel! hihihi.

and for the following day. we travelled to hua lien city.

it's Charming City Hotel Hua Lien. It's in 19 Guoshing 2nd Street.

It's a 3* Hotel. but not bad. they actually gave us voucher for breakfast and we can get a glass of wine for their welcome drink. eventho its not an expensive one. but still, i think its quite a good service. and we have a private room there to enjoy our wine during the christmas eve. HAHAHHAA.

it's quite spacious room too. but they only have the wifi at their lobby with a very long password. hahaha.

owh.. and they made their bathroom seen through from the bedroom. hahaha. *As u can see the pic below later on*. and if u are bathing in the bathtub, we can see your silhouette. hahaha..

we spent out 3rd day at the most beautiful hotel that i ever stayed, named

Silk Place Hotel at Taroko at Hua Lien city

my banker friend said. that one episode of Baccalaureate was taken in this hotel.

it is just a perfect hotel in the middle of the mountains. haha..

the hotel are just a 5 storey's hotel. but they designed it perfectly beautiful. well, that's what i think. haha.

they have a very spacious cozy room, a very good facilities (indoor pool, outdoor pool, spa, outdoor jacuzzi, spacious playing room with ps3 or xbox there, bonfire surrounded by the nature and cozy sofa's)

it is just perfect for honeymoon. HAHAHHAHA.. it is a very romantic place. *again, in my opinion.* especially, when u are out there near the bonfire in a winter time, with the life music.
hmm.. perfecto. ahhahahahaha..

and they have a very good wifi too. hahaha.. u can access it in every part of the hotel.

after Taroko Gorge, we moved to tai chung city.

and we stayed in Plaza Hotel near the Taichung Station.

It is a very business hotel and very small. hahaha..

nothing much too say for this hotel. they have nice fried noodle and fried rice for their breakfast tho. haha

owh yahh. and condom is provided as well in this hotel. hahaha. *pertama kali gw liat hotel yg nyedia-in beginian. ahhahaha.*

after taichung, we were back to Taipei and stayed at Howard Hotel.

Its a 5* hotel, but i dont really feel the grandness that 5* hotel suppose to have. ahahhaha.

quite good location tho, even tho its not as convenient as caesar park hotel. but still accessible.

near MRT as well. *well, i forgot which MRT station. hahaha..*
and it's near HELLOKITTY CAFE! hihihi..

but their wifi is expensiveee.. it cost u SGD 25 for a day, and can only be used for a device.
*so, if u already insert the pin to ur laptop, u cant use it with ur smartphone. hauahua..

but overall, its a good hotel . =)

this Christmas

so im gonna spend this Christmas with my beloved banker, property agent, SMU graduand, graphic designer, and another 2 gentleman that i dont know what they work as. hahaha.

ill leave on the 22nd of December to Taiwan and will fly to Hongkong on the 29th until the 1st of January.
really looking forward to it!

but before the 22nd.

i have so many things to do.

Friday 16th - working + Elrica's portfolio make up test
Saturday 17th - Elrica's portfolio day + dance mob at Mandarin Gallery at 9pm
Sunday 18th - Christmas Diner with boss and friends.
Monday 19th - working (maybe meet up with a client)
Tuesday 20th - my very first presentation to one of the biggest London event company. *wish me luck! ahay~
Wednesday 21st- sending Christmas cards to all the clients + meeting with ION orchard team at 6.30pm (hope it will be a fast meeting) for a quite big event that they will have it early next year.. *cant tell u now*

guess my traveling buddies gonna see me sleeping most of the time during the 4 + 2 hours journey to Taiwan.

Magnum Cafe in Grand Indonesia Mall, Jakarta is super nice.
and the ice creams are goooooddddddd..
and everything have a chocolate component in it.

not a single day in Jakarta that i spent was at least a good one.
i cried before my flight.
i always cried after my training is done.
and i am crying now as well.

really.. not a good one.. =(

its only a week of my probation period.

3 days in singapore was okay.
have to learn all the things that i must know and have to get my brain working again, after 6 months ive not been using it well.

but the days in Jakarta was unexplainable.
i dont know why i feel so intimidated by my surroundings here..
and i feel like a dumb in this global company.
where everyone knows how to do things well. and i dont know a single thing about anything.
and the best is its the lonely feeling that i have it here.

i dont know if its just what i feel,
or its really me who cant work.

i am just very fearful rite now..

oh God.. please make me fearless.
please give me a brilliant mind to understand everything there, and may i can mingle well with all the people there..
and i need Your strength and your joy Lord, through it all.

i just got my very first job.
well. its gonna be a month training first, before i am officially employed / discharged by them. hahaha..

well. i kinda have this like-and-dont-like attitude towards this job.
its a marketing job for advertising software.
basically the software is to convert 2d image to 4d image..
and it is a very cool software.
starwars, toy story, audi, avanza car, and etc have employed this company to make their marketing, advertising, and events programs.

the main office is in Jakarta, and they are expanding to Singapore,
well. it is still a small company here tho.
for now its only the sales and marketing team.
so, once we received an order, we gonna send it to Jakarta people to do it.

well, i really thank God for this, even tho i dont know if it will be my permanent job and will enjoy the job itself or not. haha
*its like i was really desperate on last weds, and got this job on the nxt day. haha..
initially, they dont need me for now, and probably nxt year IF they need more people.
and suddenly they gave me a call on thurs afternoon, and said that need my help. uhmm~~

yes, it is difficult to find a job in Singapore these days.
due to government preference for the locals than the foreigners.
but hey, who said its impossible?

im watching Dream High (korean drama) these few days.
about 6 teenagers who are pursuing their dreams in entertainment industry in Korea (read: K-Pop)
and it really teach me to 'dream high', even tho the possibility is only 0,00001 %,
but there is still possibility for us to achieve it.

and the key is to never give up.
* i keep physco-ing my self to do this. hahahaha..

and i tried 3 new ramen recently.. and all are very niceee.. OMG..

1. IKKOUSHA ramen - Muara Karang, North Jakarta. *sorry, for i dont know the full address. ahahha..

*tasty pork gyoza. eventho a bit oily. ~.~. i forgot the price for this,
but the ramen itself is around Rp. 45.000-60.000,-

spicy chicken ramen *chef recommendation.

2. BARIO ramen. 201 Victoria Street, 4F Iluma, Ramen Champion, Bugis, Singapore.

so, there's this ramen competition of 6 ramen is held in 1 place like a foodcourt.

it's like marche, once you entered, you will be given a card.
whatever you ordered, will be charged into the card, and pay at the cashier.

the black round thingy is for the timer.
so, after you order, you'll be given this timer.
it will ring when your meal is ready to be collected.

*bario half size. $7 haha.. i think i wont finish the normal size.*forgot the price, around $11-13*
and its too many bean sprouts.. ~.~
but i really like the noodle, very think and chewy.. very hokkaido type of noodle.. hihi..

and you can add whatever amount you like for the chili powder and the minced garlic. ahahah

3. KURA ramen. *Plaza Singapura, Dhoby Ghaut, level 4 *beside ajisen ramen.

*spicy pork ramen *its black pork if im not mistaken.. $11.
not fantastic, but its still okay.
i like the thick and chewy noodle. hahaha..

i was wondering why mass comm is a part of BA.
and was wondering why i had to take psychology, politics of the world, sociology, and the other modules that i thought are not related to my degree..

i love how Riri Riza and the team can wrapped it beautifully as a musical drama.

and i love this song specially.

and i cried when Lintang (one of the main character, he is 'anak pesisir' who have to cycle 4 hours and meet a crocodile on his way back and forth, just to go to school) lost his father, who is a fisherman.

simply a must watch musical.. *ga kalah sama Lion King musical dehh.. hehe..

hari minggu lalu, gw ke JPCC di hotel NIKKO, jakarta.

gw suka ibadah disni, very systematic dan slalu on time.
dan gw suka khotbah.nya jeffry rachmat dan jose carol. hehe..

minggu lalu, gw, ika, fanih dan c bombie pergi ke ibadah 5.30 sore.
dan kita hrs dateng jam 430an gtuh. or else kita ga bakal dapet tempat duduk.
*cukup sensasional sih greja ini. mrk punya 6 ibadah sehari. dan 6.6nya selalu penuh. haha..

trush si Jose Carol ngajartin kita buat jadi orng TERHORMAT.

dia mulai pengajaran dia dengan crita pas dia pergi ke stadium bola buat nonton Indonesia vs Bahrain sepekan atau 2 pekan yg lalu.

jadi di setiap kompetisi antar 2 negara, pasti mrk bakal menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan mrk masing2..
since Indo adalah tuan rumah.. pas si Bahrain menyanyikan lagu kebangsaan mrk, langsung semua orng2 indo disana mem-booo.. kan / mencibir mereka.

which is not a good thing..
karena, buat jadi bangsa TERHOMAT. kita itu harus belajar

*pengajaran yg sangat simple mnurut gw, tapi penting bngt.. gara2 gw bisa liat emang ke2 hal ini udah sangat lacking di komunitas2 kita saat ini..

jadi, dia bagiin pengajaran ini, biar Indo bisa jadi bangsa yg terhormat. dimulai dari lingkup yg kecil dulu, spt greja misal.nya..

dia bilang, hrs tau rasanya di hormati, biar bisa menghormati orng.

dia kasih contoh anak cw sama cowo dia.

anak cw dia 10 taon umurnya.. dia mau ngajarin gimana cara.nya di hormati sebagai perempuan.
jadi suatu sabtu dia telpon anaknya dan nanya. 'hey, kamu ada waktu sabtu nanti, makan malam yuk sama papa?'
ketika dia tau anaknya pasti ada waktu. haha..
setelah anaknya bilang ok. dia suruh anaknya dandan yg cantik. trush d jemput sama dia naek mobil, lalu di buka-in pintu mobil.nya.. dan pas sampe restaurant pun. dia narikin kursi.nya buat anak cw.nya ini.

dia bilang sama jemaat.nya..
saya melakukan ini buat dia. agar dia tau. gmn cara.nya di hormatin oleh pria saat dia dewasa nanti. biar ga di mistreat dngn sembarang cowo.

*yang s c bombie assume, pasti dia punya high expectation buat calon mantu dia nanti. ahhahaha..

trus istri.nya si Jose Carol yg ngajarin anak cowo.nya gimana buat menghormati orng.
sperti:
-kalo mau masuk ruangan yg ada pintu.nya, dia harus bukain pintu buat cw ato orng yg lebih tua
-bukain pintu mobil buat cw
-menahan pintu lift dan make sure semua cw dan orng tua keluar duluan, baru dia keluar.

*cukup menarik cara pengajaran dia. haha.

sperti hormatilah hari OFF mba / mas dan supir.mu.. karena itu sudah hak mereka buat menikmati hari off.nya..
dan bnyk contoh yg lain.nya yg gw ga bisa paparkan semua dsini. haha.. takut bosen lo orng baca.nya. haha..

3. RENDAH HATI

dia ngasih contoh ttng hal menghadiri pesta perkawinan dari lukas 14:10.
'Tetapi, apabila engkau di undang, pergilah duduk ke tempat paling rendah. Mungkin tuan rumah akan datang dan berkata kepadamu: Sahabat, silahkan duduk di depan. dan dengan demikian engkau akan menerima hormat dpn mata semua tamu yg lain'

dan menurut gw lagi, emang susah juga skrng ini buat jadi rendah hati. dimana semua orng dan bahkan di greja jadi ajang pamer barang2 dan bahkan mobil yg kita punya.. hauhaua.. *gw ga bermaksud meng-offend siapapun dan greja mana pun sih. hanya memaparkan apa yg gw rasa aja koq.. haha..

jadi, jadilah rendah hati. biar engkau menjadi orng terhormat. bukannya gila hormat loh yah.. bedaa.. hhuahuaa..

4. TAAT PERINTAH TUHAN

si abang Jose bilang. 'perintah itu harus di patuh-i, bukan di debat-i'
which, menurut gw. bener juga yahh.. namanya juga perintah. no room for negotiation. haha..
klo bisa d nego, nama.nya jualan.. ya nggak sih sis/gan? HAHAHHA.. *oke.. gw brasa jayus tiba2. hahaha..

dan kalo mao di slamatkan Tuhan, juga harus patuh-i semua perintah Dia. with no negotiation..

abang Jose kasih kita ayat di efesus 6. tentang taat dan kasih.
bahwa kita sebagai anak2 harus taat sama ortu, since inilah janji terhadap sesama manusia yg pertama, dan perintah yg ada janji.nya.. ketika semua perintah Tuhan yg laen spt jangan membunuh, mencuri dll tuh ga ada janji apa2nya..

Tuhan bilang d efesus 6:3 : "supaya kamu berbahagia, dan panjang umurmu di bumi"

Omaigad! ini tuh perintah yg paling susahh menurut gw! hauhaua..
bukannya gw muna atau bermuka 2 nih cuyy..
tapi im a different person when im with them..
gw bukan Jenita yang ramah, penuh kasih, dan penuh canda tawa.. *eaaaaa.. hahaha..

tapi yah beginilah gw.. gw slalu males dngerin kt mrk. yg mnurut gw bener2 non-sense.. apalagi emakk gw.. duhh.. bisa perang terus klo gw d indo tiap hariii.. ahuaha..

tapi.nya lagi. gw berusaha dan slalu berusaha buat patuh dan taat sama mrk.. yahh. drpd gw masuk neraka gara2 ini doank kand ga lucu.. bener ga sih? walopun susah.nya sampe ke ubun2 jekk..
bisa nangis sesunggukan gw klo kadang mikirin hubungan gw ma mrk..

well.. God put us in our family with a reason sih i believe. yahh coba gw jalanin dl dehh.. haha..

trush si abang Jose juga mention ttng 1 ayat yg sering bngt nih kita denger. di
1 timotius 4:12 "Jangan seorang pun menganggap engkau rendah karena engkau muda. Jadilah teladan bagi orng2 percaya, dalam perkataanmu, dalam tingkah lakumu, dalam kasihmu, dalam kesetianmu dan dalam kesucianmu."

nahh.. ga berarti kamu rendah karena kamu muda
dan kamu tinggi, kalau kamu tua.

kamu itu menjadi tinggi, ketika kamu punya 4 values di dalam diri kamu itu. dan tentu.nya di dalam 5 hal di 1 tim4:12 di atas.

entah kenapa gw suka banget sama khotbah.nya si Jose Carol ini. bener2 simple things yg dia ajarin. tapi gw bisa belajar banyak. dan instrospeksi diri lebih lagi..

marilah kita at least menjadi pribadi yang TERHORMAT. =)

audisinya tuh hari sabtu ini. *hari dimana gw masih d jakarta.
karena ill be back to singapore nxt tuesday. hoho.

nahhh. pas gw liat..
pendafataran.nya udh tutup donkk. hauhua. doi tutup.nya tgl 5 gtuh.. sedangkan gw liat iklan ini tgl 6.nya jam 2 pagi..
tapi gw iseng nyoba..
gw kirim CV dan biodata gw + voto ke dia jam 3 pagi.
dan mikir buat telpon mrk jem 11 siangan gtuh buat pastiin apakah gw bisa ikut partisipasi apa nggak.

nah.. pas gw telpon salah 1 bapaknya bilang, 'udah ga bisa ikutan, gara2 udh lewat pendaftarannya..
lagian udah pasang iklan berminggu2 masa baru liat?'

akhirnya gw mencoba menjelaskan klo gw baru pulang dr singapore dan iseng buka website dan liat iklan ini, dan gw mau bngt coba buat ikutan.

si bapakpun mencoba menanyakan ke panitia yg laen dl ktnya.. and will give me a call kalo bisa ikutan.

eh.. akhirnya ada yg nelpon..
tapi ke reject sama gw.. -_-'
gara kebiasaan gw kluar dr page manapun di HP tuh pake tombol buat hang up telpon yg merah2..
jadi ke reject dehh..

nah.. epic fail.nya lagi. pas gw telpon lg ke kantor.nya..
dan pas gw telpon..
ada nomor yg sama telpon ke hp gw..
gw bingung gmn cara hang up telpon gw, dan trima telpon yg 1 lagi..
*biasa. agak gaptek saya. hahahahaha.

ada 3 option d hp gw..
dan gw mencoba pilihan yg gw rasa cukup masuk akal
eh.. pas gw pencet. 22nya malah mati. *alamakk.. ahahha..

dan gw pun coba telpon lagi ke kantor.. recep yg angkat dan bilang klo semua.nya lagi pd pergi dan ga tau siapa yg telpon gw. karena semua nomor sama, cuman beda ext. ~.~.

yaudah deh. gw mencoba bersabar buat dpt telpon lagi..
dalem hati udah mikir, 'yaudah deh, kalo emang ga bisa ikutan yah brarti bukan jalan gw'

gw pun tiba2 ketiduran *agak babi gw memang klo di jakarta. bawaannya mau tdr terus, karena kasur gw yg menurut gw super amatlah enak. ahhaha..

pas bngn, gw mikir buat telpon HP yg buat info via sms. telpon sekali ga di angkat..
ehh.. pas 2x. diangkat! *yeayyy.. hauhaua..

trush gw tanya2.. dan akhirnya gw di kasih buat ikutan!
makasih Tuhan bngt dehh.. ini sih namanya Grace dehh.. bukan dngn kekuatan gw sendiri..
pegimana caranya coba pendaftaran udah kelar masih bisa ikutan
kecuali elo kenal orng dalem.. hauhaua..

akhirnya gw beli clana bahan deh buat sabtu.. soalnya kudu pake kmja putih + clana item gtuh dehh. hauhau..

nahh.. jem 4an.. ada ibu2 telpon. namanya ibu Rita.. *gaya ngomongnya kyk Fenny Rose. (pembawa acara silet! hahahahaha) gw sampe bengong sejenak tadi dngerin dia ngomong.. haha.

dia reconfirm buat gw dateng tgl 8, sabtu ini, jem 12 siang di ITC mangga dua lt. 6 *kantor.nya doi.
jd jem 9-12 tuh buat audisi yg mandarin..
12-slesai buat yg umum.. hauha.. *say whatt??? Tuhan Baikk!!! hihihi..

yahh.. si DAAI TV ini emang stasiun TV kecil sihh..
tapi knp ga gw coba juga. no harm trying kand. hehe..

October oh October.
if u read back my every posts for the month of October.
u will see how my mood fluctuated. *anak labil mode on gtuh deh.. haha..
simply because i hate October the most.
i dont want to grow old!
i dont like responsibilities in life.
im afraid i cant bear all those things.

well, people keep saying age is just a number.
but for me, its still a matter.
maybe, being brought up in Indonesian Chinese family did shape my ways of thinking.

like, get married before you are 26? haha..
i dont know if it happens only to me, or it applies to most Indonesian families.

anyway, i will turn 21 soon..
which means.
only 5 years left!

it doesnt mean that i dont want to get married by 26 or whatsoever.
its just their mind set really freaks me out.
many of their thinking that i cant understand sometimes. hauhaua..

it has been a musical week for me.

Mencari Putri the musical has been an awesome journey.
thank God that i can be 'TINI' - a pint sized, very loud outspoken girl. *yahh.. macam preman gtuh dahh..

at first i thot i cant be her.
*jadi jagoan, pembela kebenaran, ngomong treak2, dance pake doc. mart yg sangat amatlah berat dan agak kegedean di kaki gw, karena boleh minjem dr venessa. haha., dan jalan ngangkang yg alhasil bikin paha gw agak sakit. hahaha.

soalnya si bapak dan ibu director pun kurang pelatihan karaterisasi mnurut gw.
they asked me to explore by myself.
dan gw tuh orng.nya ga bisa auto deduct,
a bit hopeless at that time.
but by His Grace, i can perform well.

i think "the day" itself is the best 'TINI' that has ever shown up for this 5 months. hahaha.
*well. i personally think of that sihh.. i dont know what else said (read:directors)

so i punched raimond twice this month.

well.. i accidentally punched him. not on purpose.

the first one, i accidentally punch him on his left forehead *dket pelipis gtuh deh cuyy..

and he said it was hurt so much.

when he bathed on the next day it was still hurting when he washed his head. *pas cuci pala ktnye. ahahaha..

and the 2nd time was just last saturday.

somewhere near his left mouth.

and thank God even tho it still hurts, but he is fine this far *i guess. ahahaha..

basically LV is okay with me to have an internship with them.

but they are still checking with the HR, how to make me legal to do the internship with them.

since my student pass doesnt allow me to work, even as an intern.

so, they want to make sure that everything is okay first, so both of us dont get into the trouble..

if they allowed me to work there, it is really by His grace.

cause i know its near to impossible. hauahuaha..

well.. anyway, icha's dad come to FA today for the sharing..

he shared about a vision and to be focus to your vision.

and he really a man with vision. hahaha..

well. it is very good indeed

but i guess it is really tough as well to have a father like her,

very strict and demanding. hauhaua..

well. its just my 2 cents of thought. hahaha..

but talking about vision,

i have always a vision to become someone well-known..

and im in a crossroad now, to go back to indo and apply as one, or just working as a normal people like others..

ive got my second interview in LV.. *yeayyy..

well, they called me today (sunday) at 1pm, while im in the midst of KOM exam. haha..

*KOM is a ministering class in my church anyway..

well. apparently i can pick up the phone, cause the examiner was out to get more foolscap paper. ~.~

basically, shella asked me what day that i can work in the weekdays and weekends.and more questions to be ask in the nxt interview

so, im crossing my fingers for i can get the internship there.. hehe..

anyway.. my 1st interview was veryyy interesting..

im interviewed by 3 people..

1 is a singaporean woman, the bookstore manager for the LV arts sections

1 is a germany, woman, the assistant store manager,

and a very handsome guy from my beloved city (read:Paris) named Guillaume ( read: Giom, french name for William. hahahaha)

they asked me to tell about myself,

why do i want to work with LV,

what do i know about arts,

do i know any history about LV,

any favourite for LV product, etc etc.

and it was a group interview,

i was a bit scared and *jiper* because 3 of them came from fashion school like NAFA, and an art student from NTU,

and this art student is freakin know everything about LV, and know 5 languages.

and its a HE! ~.~

*kyknya agak sih bengkok doi. hahahahahah..

and im just a mass comm graduate, who dont really know until the detail about fashion.

*doesnt mean im not up to date and unfashionable tho. hauhaua..

but yeah.. its really by God's grace that i can get thru to the 2nd interview.

or maybe its also because i greeted Giom with french. AHAHHAHA..

dari pada yg laen, ngakunya pd bs ngomong french, tapi malah kaga ngomong. muahahahahahhahaah..

only 6 in the world, because they carry everything from LV itself.

like not just the bags, but their all..

even the art gallery and bookstore that LV has collaborated with artists all over the world.

now, im just hoping i can get thru!

my 9th interview

this friday, i have an interview with LV at Marina Bay Sands..

well.. they are asking for 2 intern for their opening..

it would be last for only a month..

we will get a certificate from them, food and transport allowance (arndSGD300)

3 times a week. 4-7 hours..

well. i hope i can go thru.. i think its really not bad..

who knows they can consider me as a full time sales executive, and climb up to their office as their marcomm people.. or their PR. =)

im getting tired of all the activities that i have now..

chinese lessons from 10-1 (every tuesday n friday)

2 part time job from 12-7.30 (monday-friday) and im in from 2 pm if i have the chinese class

and go to musical practice directly from 8-11.30pm

go home.. and look for jobs. hauhauahuahau..

*kalo gw ga kerja part time, mrasa bersalah juga d rumah cuman ongkang2 kaki doank..

yg sbenernya ada bagusnya sihh.. mungkin gw bisa lebih dket lagi sama Tuhan, saat teduh sama nyanyi2 lebih banyak di rumah. hahaha..

gw tetep mencari si Babeh sii, tapi kadang gw udha males juga boo.. seharian di luar gtuh..

kagum sama kalian yg kerja dr pagi + latian musical. hauhaua..

tapi gw percaya Tuhan juga refresh kita tiap hari sih. =)

yahh.. biar apapun yg gw lakukan, ga buat muas-in manusia aja sih.. tapi muasin si Babeh juga..

after brunching with tine2 last month.

me and happy three friends went to one other cafe by the river, named Kith Cafe.

Kith Cafe is in 7 Rodyk Street, #01-33 Watermark @ Robertson Quay.

the place is a bit secluded, but it is indeed a very nice place to eat ur brunch..

*Welcome to the good life by Kanye West in playing in my mind now. ahhahaha..

it was a shady saturday morning by the river, many westerns family are there to have a brunch with their families, or just jog around with their dogs.

and here we are, enjoying the morning breeze, the warbling birds, the laughter of the kids, and some barking from the dogs and of course the great food itself. =)

my 5th interview

interview with Far east hospitality was my 5th interview for this nearly 4 months of job hunting.

i cant believe that i clicked apply button for this job in job street either.. hauhaua..

*midnite clumsiness i guess.. cause i always apply jobs at night. hoping my email will come at the first few at the HR's email.. hauhaua..

anyway.. went for the interview at the ladmark village hotel for 'reservation sales executive'

what will i do there if i am accepted and accept this job is:

just to handle phone calls and emails regarding the booking of 8 hotels under Far east Organization.

thats all. ahahha..

a bit no brainer job..

and the 1st question that Ms. Sharifah - reservation sales manager imposed to me was

'so, u are a broadcasting people? why are u here?'

and i cant said i purposelessly clicked the apply button at job street, can i? ahahhaha..

and i just said that i applied for events management at far east *which is true*, but they call me for this job.. hauhaua..

and then the long talk begun,

she said that i should get the job that i want, cause she sees me that im not a person that might be like to work behind the table and just ensure all the bookings, even tho i will learn a lot there, she said.

'i dont want you to be frustrated and have no life, after u work here, because u dont like it, just pursue, and get what u want, i dont want to see my people grumble and get frustrated everyday either'

bsok, yaitu hari kamis, 22 july 2011, jem 3.30.. diriku akan interview d far east.. buat jadi reservation sales executive di orchard parade hotel.

kerjaannya ngapaen. pun gw belom tau sama sekali, do sales pun ga tau iyah apa nggak..

soalnya d job desk gw isinya tuh semua cuman ensure klo reservation has been made gtuh2 dehh..

kykny kerjaan ga gtuh pake otak buat mikir sih. HAHAHAHAHAH..

brasa urus ret2 tiap hari gw kyknya... make sure all the bookings are fine..

anywayy.. akhirnya aunt gw udah kembali ke negara asal.nya..

aaaa~~ terima kasih Tuhan sedikit beban ku sirna..

last tuesday. me, ci bombie and elrica were experimenting to make our self a steak for the diner.

and it turned out to be NOT BAD AT ALL! ahhaahha..

well, it was a bit hard.. because it was to well done.

but we made ourself a pretty good diner i guess. hahaha..

anyway. not only the steak that made the good out of the nite..

it was the companion too. =)

and here it goes! =)

marinate the meat with olive oil, blackpepper, salt and rosemary. and put 45mins in the fridge.

and fry it.. *up to ur taste to make it medium rare to well done. hahaha..

a heart-warming and romantic scenery from c elrica's place at the 29th floor *if im not mistaken. ahahahhaa..

*cant really feel the 'feeling'. but trust me.. its a good place for diner and chilling.. =)

went to the PLAIN cafe at 50 craig road #01-01 last 2 weeks with christine natalia..

*our previous cinta laura in NASI BOENGKOES the musical. haha..

we always said that we wanted to catch up.

but we always cant fixed a time to meet.

finally, we decided to go for a brunch at the Plain

cause she is leaving for sydney soon

so, there we were, at the cafe catching up. hahahaha..

she is very well, more beautiful, more talkactive i must said. haha..

and i really enjoyed the day out with her..

all the stories that we shared. the weep and joy.. HAHAHAHAHA.. *lebay

aaaaa~~ i love youuu tine2! hihi.

anyway.. The Plain is quite a good place for brunch. *i think the owner is a UK woman that we meet there. haha..

i ordered toasties (ham and cheese and tomatoes) for SGD 8.50 and ice chocolate for SGD 5

and christine ordered dean's breakfast for SGD 10.50 and hot choco for SGD 3.50.

*its the same like the toasties, they just served it with poached eggs. =)

and we wanted to go to this cafe for dessert,

found out that the place is very small, so we decided not to go in. ahhahaha..

*they said all the cakes are really nice..

its japanese cafe.. its somewhere in duxton hill.. near tanjong pagar.. =)

and we went to this cafe in ann siang hill.. a very cute japanese cafe..

but finally, we didnt eat our desserts here.. cause its full.. and we were very thirsty at that time..

and this restaurant is really full everyday.

they opened at 6pm. but u should be there before 6 to Q.

or else, u have to wait for around 45mins to get the seat..

but. it's very recommended to go there..

its only SGD 22 for the adults..

and all the meats are veryyy nice..

i like the bulgogi. and there's this meat that i dont know the name, but veryyy nice...

*long shaped with bone and have a sweet taste.. hahhahaha..

Sarah, the HR person from FJ Benjamin called me yesterday to go for the 2nd interview today.

she emphasized 'dont be late' to me..

to arrive there by 9.30 on the dot.

so today, i woke up at 7.30..

showered, washed my hair, hair dried, put on same make up, etc..

finished by arnd 8.45. went down to catch the bus..

and it was raining..

cause i didnt bring my umbrella.

i went back upstairs..

it took me arnd 7mins to go back n forth..

and again, like last week, i was at the bus stop at 8.55..

sure ill be late again, if i go to my interview place by bus..

so, i grab a cab that cost me 11 dollar. and a funny uncle that tried to correct my spelling, when i know im right.. -_-'

and she is just intimidating..

and it was a 15 mins intimidating interview. hauahaua.. *cause she has a meeting to attend at 10am..

she asked me a lot of things.. more on my school projects.. and i forgot the PR campaign that i made.. and she asked me about it.. like. a lot of it! oh nooo.. i screwed up i guess.. -_-'..

im in not in a good mental state now..hahahaha..

so, i found out that it wasnt really a CRM position. i'll be in marcomm department, and support the mar comm team, which is lead by her. and do all the job that mar comm people supposed to do.

well.. its only by God's grace alone if i can get this job..

well, i dont know how long the air time that i will have. how the shoot will be like, will they take a full shoot of my face, or me, or just the back of me. hahaha..

im just simply happy,

im doing something that i like the most..

'acting'

i dont mind doing a simple role, minor role or even calefare in any production.

cause, i love production as a whole. *not the pre and post production i guess.. hihihihi..

just by seeing them busy in doing their own things at the location itself makes me smile a lot.

and this is the first time, that im doing a government video and they are okay with the student pass that im holding.. *they've always ask for a PR or singaporean or dependent pass.

ive got my 2nd job interview..

and its at FJ Benjamin.

a leading branding fashion industry.

*celine, catherine deane, givency, guess, gap, la senza, raoul etc etc are under them..

i bought a black blazer for today's interview.. haha..

cause i had none of the formal clothes, except my usher attire.

and its too formal for a fashion industry i think. hauhaua..

so, i match my black blazer with my colorful dress. ahahahha..

tied up my hair, put make up on face, brought my speedy bag, and wear my black low heels-covered toes.

*i didnt take any pic, but can ask ci gill how i look just now. ahahah.. i bumped into her, found out that we are in the same building. FJ is on the 4th floor and her childcare is on the 1st floor.. hehe.. happy to see u ci gill! =)

i was late for the interview, the traffic was horrible.. i cant make it on time if i take a cab as well..

tried to call FJ for several times, but i cant reach them.

and i was a bit lost when i reached the building too.. =(..

i supposed to reach by 9.30

and i just reached at 9.40.. hauhaua..

when i reached FJ, i was a lil bit like in a movie. hahahaha..

when the lift's door opened. there's a black big FJ Benjamin sign on the wall.. with the lighting effect that make it so "MODE in ugly betty" and "RUNWAY in devils wears prada" hahahaha..

runaway music is playing, the company is mostly white in color and beige.. and greeted by a friendly smile from the receptionist..

after that i filled all my particulars, and get interviewed by Michelle around 10.05 am.

i dont know what is her position, but she is not from the HR department.. hauhaa..

because there is a re-shuffling position..

im interviewed for a CRM position, not assistant marcomm manager..

she asked me many things about marketing.

like how to entice people to be loyal to our brands.

how to liaise with 3rd party.

how to make an event (private party, fashion show).

put me to some scenarios.

she said i have a good attitude,

she smiles a lot to me,

she asked me about my expected salary and when can i start..

hope it was a good interview and give her a very good impression.. hauhaua..

she will get back to me next week, cause there are some candidates for the position as well..

at least i've tried my best *at least not a 15 mins interview like the very first time. hahaha*
let God do the rest.

tired to apply for my first job today

so, i decided to open aadb.com to look for some casting opportunities.

*aadb.com is a good website to look for casting.. hihi..

so.. i applied for 2 casting..

1. MOE (Ministry of Education) ads video

2. corporate video.

i just applied for fun.

well. who knows they are interested in me,

and i can pursue my dream job..

which i dont need to tell u again i guess.. hahahahaha..

so, when i was out with ivan adhiteja at max brenner.

someone called me..

i was very happy to see an office number on my cell..

and it was not ci bella or ci bombie or another cici and koko who called me from their office number. hahaha..

i thot it was another job intreview for me!

but it wasnt.. =(..

and guess what!

ITS MOE! ahahhaha..

well, its the talent agency from the MOE actually. haha..

the person said that she reviewed my profile, and will consider me to do the casting,

because MOE is still sorting out the talent.

but, if MOE doesnt want me..

there's a casting for marina barrage ads..

where i have to fly a kite..

*and i nvr fly one before. ahahahha.. mana nihhh ko alfon, david.. katanya mau maen layangan di dpn buangkok ... ga jadi2 ahhhhhh. -_-'

i really want this MOE or this marina barrage role..

either one is a perfect start for me..

so.. me, bombie, becky, wynne and erick went to Bali last month (24th April 2011, easter day!! ) to attend our dearest arief and elrica's wedding at tirtha luhur uluwatu..

what a wonderful, sweet, unforgettable private wedding party ..

and as always.. i cried when they were exchanging the vows. ahhaha..

indeed a sweet and meaningful.. *cant imagine when i have to said mine. hahahaha..

me and the 58 bethany youth worker's went to Johor Bahru (Le Grandeur hotel) for the workers retreat..

thank God for this camp..

im learning now to be more humble, to take the extra miles, to have a big heart, and to serve others like Jesus serve.

*we went to this hotel last year for the worker's retreat as well..

no doubt on their hotel service.. only the food that i think are not as good as last year.

but we faced a lot of problems on our journey to the hotel.

a van driver who told ko iie that he has no brain.. *gila tuh supir.. ga tauu ko iie siapee ye? hahahaha..

the tour guide on the bus who has annoyed 40 people, by saying 'do u all understand english?' because we werent listening to her crap.

and ci bella who lost her way from JB immigration toilet to the bus station. everyone in her bus was very panicked, because she has nowhere to be found. and finally they found out that she was in another bus station that is veryyyyyyy far from the initial bus station. hahahhaha..

when we complained to the hotel for the bus driver and the tour guide that they are very rude and said harsh comments on us, we found out that the transports arent from the hotel. -_-.. they affiliate with another transportation company.. so, we have to email the company for the complain letter.. -_-'

today is my first musical dance practice..

it was fun and.... tiringg. huahua..

hope no muscle ache tomorrow. have to do my part time jobb.. *saving for PARIS! ahhahahahaha..

i have to dance with a bitchy and 'songong' attitude..

my goodness. i feel like slapping my face when i practiced. ahahhaha..

but compared to mayshella.. *the new girl in dance team*

wowwww.. she is just bloody good!! i am nothing man! i amm really nothingg.. hahahaha..

i went for my first job interview last tuesday.. *sorry for the late update.. hoho..

and.. it was not really good i guess..

so, here's the story..

they told me to come at 3..

i came 2:55pm. hahaha..

*because i went for lunch with ko dasu at BIG O paragon, and almost forget that i had an interview to do..

just too much to catch up..

well.. thanks to ko dasu too for sending me to robinsons road, for the job interview. =)

anyway.. when i reached.

they asked me to fill all my particulars.

about 5 mins i were there.

a guy came out from the interview room. *it was about 4:05.

there's other 2 guys waiting before me..

so, when the first one come in..

i was a bit surprised.

cause he took 30mins to do the interview.

i was looking at my phone. BBM here and there. opened my FB.. etc etc..

then. the 2nd guy went for the interview..

and i was surprised as well. cause he took more than 30 mins..

its about 40 mins..

so i was thinking. maybe each person takes 30mins to do the interview..

but when it was my turn. it was only 15 mins!!!!

okay..

so here are my speculations:

1. the other 2 guys are applying for different job *i applied as Management Trainee.

2. she just love to talk to the guys..

3. have no more time, because there were still 2 girls waiting for the interview, and it was 4:25pm *assuming they go back at 5pm..

4. i have no work experience that she has to asked.

5. i just screwed up. HAHHAHAHAHA..

well.. anyway.. praise the Lord.. at least someone responded my email for this 2 weeks of emailing.

and, finally,

i sms-ed kevin last monday..*the broadcasting manager guy whom i met on the bus*

Lately,

God answers my prayer faster than google.

He makes me amazed and cant stop to thank Him, even in my sleep. haha..

so, back on thursdays.

i had lunch with my lunchie partner, amanda lorena.

and i was whining, because i have applied for more than 20 jobs.

but no respond at all =(.

the next day, i prayed in my morning prayer for at least a company or two responds my job application.

i dont care if i get rejected or get interviewed.

the most important thing that i want, was a respond..

at least i know that they dont need me or want me, so i dont have to wait for them *if i really like the job scope. ahuaha..

then, another 2 hours.

i was in my chinese class, then i saw 1 misscalls.

1 is from a home/office number and the other is HP number.

during the break, i called the home/office no. first.

and, someone picked it up.

G: hello

J: hi, may i know who's calling just now?

G: may i know who's this?

J: oh, im jenita.

G: oh, jenita darmento? i received ur resume for the management trainee that u have applied, can u come for the interview on monday 3pm?

J: yes! sure! *senyum2. ahauhaua..

G: okay, ill sms u the address.

and i totally forgot which company that i applied this MT. cause ive applied more than 3 MT i guess. ahahhaa..

*well. manda said i have to send about 50 jobs per week.=/ ahhahaha..

so, i came home and checked my sent email.

and, the company who called me is the head hunter agency, named career 1emprier.

well. some people said, beware of headhunter,

because sometime they have some hidden' contract. hauahua..

anyway. i didnt bring my agenda along when i said yes to the headhunter company.

and when i looked at my lovely agenda (bday gift from jeanna and peng :) )

i had something that i cant cancel on monday 3pm!!!! aaaaaaaaaaa

been calling and emailing the head hunter company to shift the interview to tuesday 3pm.

but, he hasnt responded anything yet..

*well, maybe they have closed earlier on friday. cause i sms him at 3pm. hauhaua..

so, i just sent him an email today, hope he can see it by monday morning, and reply me ASAP.. hehe..

well. me sure God do take care of everything. so, me isnt panicking.. hehhe..

*not me being too religious. but i just believe He is SO. =)

anywayy.. i played as TINI in the next drama musical.

this character is a tiny girl, who is very brave, outspokenand not afraid of anything, and teach SATRIA (the main actor=andreas) about valiance and firmness..

i wont act much there.

but its quite a challenge to act as a 'preman cw' or maybe u can call her 'a-lian' in singapore. HAHAHAHA..

and im gonna sing.. *wowwww.. hahahaha..

and its quite a challenge to, when i know im in one scene with this 2 main actors and the others.. hahahahaha..

*hope it will turn out well, and i dont screw things up. HAHAHAHAHAH..

when shandy asked me in the cell group today on what i want to pray for.

i immediately answer.

'a job in broadcasting area'

* i watched morning glory yesterday with my cell group members.

which make me want to work in broadcasting area again.

not a news anchor or an actress.

i want to be like becky in morning glory.. - an executive producer of a live show. hehe..

well anyway..

felly prayed for me regarding the job that i want.

after the cell group over,

we went for supper, as per usual.

we were going to swensens at holland village.

so, we took 970 there.

the bus is quite full that 6 of us cant sit together.

so, i decided to sit at the very front row of the bus,

*if u know the seating for SMRT bus. usually there are 4 seats that face each other.

me and bern were seating together.

and there was a western guy sitting infront of us.

me and be were practicing how to say bonne nuit, merci and sa va in french.

until this western guy lifted up his bag and touches my knees.

he said sorry to me, and i smiled and said that its okay.

we continue to talk and talk, until he lifted up the bag for the 2nd time.

and when he wanted to put the bag back down.

again, the bag touches my knees.

he said sorry again.

and again, for the second time, i smiled and said, its okay.. =)

i felt so awkward there.

no conversation went on, after he said sorry, and i said its okay. haha..

so, i started the conversation.

J: so, do u live near here?

K: i'm sorry

J: do u live near holland village?

K took out his agenda, and showed me his adress. it's on dun... something road near the sixth avenue.

J: owh, 6th avenue, there's a pasta restaurant near 6th avenue, named pasta de salvatore, its very nice, u should try..

K: owh, okay..

and suddenly, he took out his namecard and gave it to me.

stated there, that he is the BRODCAST PROJECT MANAGER in VICTORIA, AU. named d'arcy global media.

i stunt for a while. looking at the namecard and look back at him. and look back to the name card

J: woww! so, what field of broadcasting?

K: TV.

J: woww!! Hi, I'm Jend! *shaking hands*

and its time to go down from the bus,

finally, i said bye to him, and wanting to get off the bus..

and turns out that we missed the bus stop!!!

all my friends were staring at me and the guy. *gubraks kuadrat.. tipikal orng indo dehh kaliann.. ahahhaha..

so, none of them press the bell to stop! *alamakkk..

so, we stopped at the next bus stop, and took the other bus to go back to holland village.. haha..

i was shocked to death when i see his name card!

i prayed for me to get in to the broadcasting industry

and there's this guy. a manager of a broadcasting company giving me his name card.

well. i know it doesnt mean that i cant work in his company directly.

somemore its in ausi. ahahha..

but, its just so cool, how we just prayed about it. and met this kevin d'arcy. hahahaha..

coincidence? i dont think so.

when God said so, he will do so.

i quickly google him when i reached home..

and i cant stop saying that this guy is super awesome when i saw his profile.

blog ku hari ini agak sedikit galauu..

sebenernya ga segalau itu sihh..

cumand lagi agak sedikit bingung aja dngn hidupku akhir2 inii.. hoho..

gw update hidup dulu deh yahh..

- gw lagi les chinese di ikoma nihh.. tiap hari slasa dan jumat.. jem 10-12.30 siankk.. hehe..

gw lngsung masuk gtuh. soalnya pas bngt lg ada kelas basic 1 term 2 yg lagi jalann..

jadi gw ga perlu dr awal bngt. soalnya gw udah bisa yg awal2 pas d tes lisan. ahahaha..

harganya juga mayand sihh.. 350an gtuh buat 15x lesson. hauahua..

- gw baru aja submit video casting + audition form buat MTV VJ HUNT 2011.. hahaha..

jumat ini which is tgl 25march2011 terakir registration dia.. mudah2an aja gw bisa masuk TOP 8 dehh. buat training n workshop dia.. hehehe.. doakan yahhh temand2.. gw pengen bngt jadi VJ! *wohooo. seru bngt deh pastii.. ahhaha..

tapi GJ gtuh.. masa email.nya s MTV ga bsia buat submit video berat2 gtuhh.. super geje.. jadi gw kirim ke 1 orng MTV gtuh jadinya.. mudah2an aja sampe dan di liat sama para casting people.. ahuahua..

-lg apply2 internhsip juga nih gw.. kmarend coba minta tolong om Yubi buat jadi intern di hotel park regis, sama minta tolong ci rita buat intern d SAP..

nahhh. sbenernya.. SAP lg cari orng buat full time.. tapi bulan may ato june gtuhh.. soalnya one of their marketing people cabut dr company tersebutss.. tapi.. takutnya.. gw udh nunggu buat job yg ini. malah ga dapet lagi. gara2 ga gtuh qualified.. sia2 dehh penantian gw.. ahuahua..

i went to michael buble's concert and lion king broadway musical last week..

*woohooo.. hihihi..

Buble's concert was cool.. not that awfully awesome tho in my opinion.. =(..

eventho im sure most of the people love it soo muchh, like manda and angie do.

but i have to admit that buble opened his concert with an awesome stage performance, lighting and the music itself.. he started with a cool jazzy 'cry me a river'.

and closed it with a sweet 'a song for you'..

he sang without a mike for the closing.. and his voice is awesome.. its just flawless.. haha..

+ a closed curtain with a small spot light and unbuttoned 2 button of his white long t-shirt and you can see that he was sweating is the most sweet moment from him.. *in my opinion. ahhahaha..

actually maybe its because of he didnt sing my favs songs that made the concert didnt really appealing to me. ahhaha.. was waiting for hollywood and LOVE.

but he did sing many songs that i know too.. at least i can sing a long with the others.. hahaha..

*we meet ferdi hasan. and ci oya is crazy about him. hahahahaha..

proceed to LION KING BROADWAY MUSICAL..

aaaaaaa~~~~~ im lovin it more than Mcd. hahahah..

the whole show just made me smile from the start until the end..

awfully awesome..

brutally brilliant..

perfectly perfect! hahahahaha..

i really recommend you theater lovers to watch the show! hihi

MBS stage is not fantabulous..

esplanade is way better..

but they have a unique stage..

imagine its a squared stage.. and u can lift the half of the stage a bit slanted.

and they have the up and down and rotating stage, like NAFA theater.

and the backdrop, the props, the lighting, the effect are magnificent..

they really awe me.. hahaha..

well.. i dont know if i am being to much or its just that beautiful. haha..

the song, the music and the acting is really superb!

all of them are afro american.

they come from canada, australia, and mostly are african..

and they speak a veryyyyyyy great english.

the young simba and nala came from Philippine,

but they act so well too! =).

they really make a real jungle in the stage i may say.

lion king is really worth the money and time to watch..

highly recommended!!

my life update:

i cant take any chinese course - full time..

because i have to convert my current student pass to their school's student pass.

which is not a win-win situation for me..

cause my student pass will expired more than 6 months from now,

where the chinese school only can offer me a 3 months student pass.. and then it will expired immediately.

now, im thinking to get the part time chinese lesson..

but some of the days are not suitable for me..

like weds n sat nights for example.. n i cant go for both, cause my cell group and youth service are on wed n sat.

applied to chanel and eurocham for internship..

hoping they call me for at least an interview *fingercrossssssss.. pleasseee God pleaseeeeee.. ahuahuaua..

but then, how to do the 'homework'?

we love them, and we really enjoy this friendships of ours.

they wont change if we tell them in their face

in fact, they will think that we dont accept them, and we wont be friends anymore.

it is indeed a very tough HW to do.

i was in the lift this afternoon to go down from my tower and meet up with thirza to study together..

when the lift opened..it wasnt making any sound as usual..

but i realized it was opened.. so i just entered and go down..

the lift stopped at level 19..

and i was putting my half body out from the lift. cause no one entered the lift..

i saw 1 aunty standing, waiting for the lift..

finally.
im back from US..

c shella was asking me to describe US trip in 1 word..
and i replied it was..
bittersweet..

its bitter because too many dramas there..
i dont like the flight and the airlines that i was taking..
*cause me and my friends experienced delayed luggage from oklahoma to florida..
that caused us slept with the clothes that we were using since the morning..
and when i received my luggage. both padlocks are broken. because they said its not TSA approved and because my name might be the same with one of the terrorist. -_-.. yeahh.. whatever US.. its just not easy when all the nations hate you. hahahaha..

and i lost my luggage from LA to SG..
i was 2am in the morning. i was so tiredddd.. and i lost my luggage.. what a day!
they didnt give me any compensation. cause i found my other luggage..
if i lost both. then they will give me.
i wasnt in the mood of complaining. so i just went home and cook myself some indomie.. hahaha.. i do miss indomie soo.. ahahah..

and finally.. i received it two days later.. it was sent to bangkok!!! and dont ask me why.. i have no idea about it as well..

and my suggestion is.. dont go to US during winter.. the snow storm is really the bitch. that what makes all flights delayed and cancelled and lost ur baggage..
and dont take delta airlines.. -_-..
please take SQ for such a long trip..

another bitter moment was.. i sick..
i literally fell sick.. and blame GLOBAL WARMING..
i reached florida at midnite.. it was 3degree celcius..
tomorrow morning is 7 degree..
the day after tomorrow is 10+..
and the day after that is 22..

and i had this slight fever.. and sorethroat. until i cant speak..
*well.. i can speak.. but its so painful!! =(
luckily i brought my antibiotic from indo.. haha..

but it just made my throat numb..
and when i reached LA..
i lost my voice..
isnt that great?? -_-..

and the last day in LA.. which is xmas day..
my shoulder hurt so bad until i took 6 pills of painkiller..
and i cried like crazyy..
and tirza said that if i take more than that.. i might overdose..

when i went to check in singapore
the doctor said my vein is blocked due to sleeping one sided.. -_-
aaaaaa~~~ why must it happened in US.. and xmas day..

and i bring home 2 exams and 2 assignments for my last submission and exam in FEBRUARY.. ughh
what a month full of love u are..

helloo all!! im in LA now.. hihi..

LA has been raining for a week my friend said..
and will be stop this thursday.. and will be raining again on sunday,dec 26..
which is a day that i have to go back to reality. hauhaua..

anyway.. orlando is really fun.. and i miss them already..
i went to epcot and magic kingdom.
and all the rides there are all virtual..
which contribute to motion sickness to me and thirza..

but they are all good and just magical. hahaha..

but then again..
i love universal more than disney for the rides.
all the thrill are just perfect for me. hahahaa..

so. there is a new ride in universal studio called ROCK IT!
this ride is awesome.
they dont have the safety belt like all the roller coaster do..
*excuse me for explaining in bahasa. ahhaha..

jadi ini roller coaster tuh. pas jalan pertama.. lngsung naek gtuh 90 drajat.. gila.. udah kyk nae roket deh pokoknya..
trush pas turun langsung d loop gtuh.. dan puterannya bukan yg biasa..
bukan yg palanya d bawah terush gtuh..
jadi bayangin aja.. itu kereta d loop.. tapi pala lu bisa d atas.. 2 detik kemudian.. bisa d bawah.. ahahha..
seru bngt..

dan serunya lagii.. lo bisa puter ur favorite song gtuh pas lagi naek roller coasternya.. even tho they dont have many options for the songs..

i have a new glasses..
since i broke my other specs..
i decided to buy a new one.. hihih..

its 90 dollars from the AZ optics in queensway shopping center.. hihihi..

and.. i bought a new pair of heels from pedro.
but i regretted that i bought this.. =(
because its a bit small for me..

so.. i bought size 35..

when i tried it on at wisma atria outlet..
it was just nice.. *well.. even tho my right size foot is bigger.. so its a bit too tight.

and when i was using it on the wedding that i attend last nite..
it was hell.. uuuuuuuuuuuuu..

ive tried size 36..
but its a bit too big as well.
cant walk properly

merapi effects

soo.. here i am.
still in singapore.. huahauha..

my flights.. valu air.. VF 507 is canceled this morning.
and its because the merapi's haze has reached jakarta..

11 flights were cancelled last nite..
and affects today's flights..

because my mom insist me to go home..
i went around changi to check a seat to jakarta..

and the result is..
air asia and lion air has no more seat until 11 pm.
garuda has a seat.. but its 400 dollar one way and its 3 + *notice there's might be reschedule as well.. -_-..
*so i dont take a riskk.. since im going back for my grandparents gold anniversary, today at 7pm..
so. if its get delayed.. i just waste my time and money.. hauhauah..

go and check SQ as well..
and its all full until tomorrow.. even worse. ahahaha..

because of the cancellation last nite..

i watched the news..
and the vulcanologist said that..
tomorrow..
8 november 2010..
it might explode again..

and it will be worse than before..
cause they predict the whole waist of the merapi will explode..

which means.. a quarter of merapi will explode.
and 6 over km near the merapi will be drown by the lava..

its just scary..

minimal sebulan sekalii dehh.. ahuaua..

jadi.. yg skrng gw bisa lakukan adalah..
1. pemanasan tiap pagi dan malam sebelom tdr. dia ada ajarin beberapa cara.. yg gw agak susah jelasin dngn kata2. haha.. pokoknya biar otot dan syaraf kakiku sehatt kembali.. hauaua

2. kalo bangun tdr. gw ga boleh lngung bangun 90 drajat dr tempat tdr gt.. *jadi kudu kayak posisi ibu hamil pas bngn tdr.. harus belok dulu ke samping kanan.. since kaki gw yg sakit kanan.. trush turunin kaki kanan dulu.. baru kaki kiri..
aaaa.. bisa sering lupa nihh.. kalo bngn ketelatann.. mana gw pikirin bngn tdr belok kanan kiri apa lnsung bangun. hauahua..

3. ga boleh makan indomie dan minum kopi.

4. minum vitamin B dan obat dr s abang yudha sehari sekali.

5. ga boleh angkat barang berat2.. + nunduk terlalu ekstrim

watched fried rice paradise yesterday. sunday 12 sept..
the very last show of the performance at 3pm. hahaha..

a bit impulsive thoo..
just decided to watch. less than 24 hour before the show. haha..
but.. no regret..
its a good musical..
and its funny too.. even tho there are many jokes in hokkian that i dont know
and i can hear people laughing very loud at those. hahaha.
luckily got andreas who explained to me. hahahahaha..

*have to learn some i think.. hihi..

so.. basically this musical is about the modernization of sg in 1970s..
bee (the lead) have this old coffee shop and selling fried rice paradise.
where there are ricksen and his son X.O. who wants to take over their coffee shop and make it into a new entertainment place.

but X.O feel in love with bee..
and bee's best friend secretly married with ricksen and betrayed their friendship for a good life with ricksen..

very drama actually. but they make it into a very funny romantic and of course very musical. hahaha..

enjoyed it pretty much..

and.. i took picture with dick lee.. the script writer and song composer for this whole musical..

actually i didnt know which one is dick lee..
then. there's a guy in the signing table wore a very fine suit, and people just starring at him..
and i heard some people mentioning his name..
so i thot its dick lee..

and.. i just want to take his photo randomly.
but when i was about to take his pic..
he turn to me and smile..

reflex i asked him to take picture with me. hhahahahaha.

and they gave us fried rice spices in packages. ko dachan and frieska took about 12 packages i think.. hahahahah.. forgot the brand of it.. hope its a good bumbu nasi goreng. ahahha..

aaaa.. i just love musical..

just came back from phuket-thailand last sunday..

me. friska. andreas. icha. veve. fanie and reza were there for 4days and 3 nites..

phuket is fine..
but i prefer bali more than phuket. HAHAHAHAHA..

but again.. its not the place that we are going to.. but the people who we are going with that makes me enjoyed the trip..

a lot of jokes and laughter among us..
be it make sense or not.. hahaha..

so.. this was our itinerary..

day 1.
air asia flight from sg-phuket. 1.15pm flight
and we were still at the toilet at 1.10pm. HAHAHAHHA..
we were scolded by the air asia people..
because we were still walking slowly when we were late. ahhaahha...

after we arrived there.. we were looking for local tours to take us arnd the island..
finally we got the tour package for 3300 bath = 145 sgd to 3 places..

** hotel's package will cost u 3300 itself for 1 attractions..
so just get it from the small booth anywhere u like.. all the prices around the same..
its the bargaining skills that u should have. ahahahha..

and we went to dinner by the beach..
actually we want to go to SAVOEY. *recommended restaurant by ibis hotel concierge.. but because of 1 2 and 3 things.. we went to this small restaurant by the beach.. called.. "the beach". ahahah.. eventho.. we ended up.. not eating at the beach.. *forgot whats the restaurant's name. ahahha.

day 2.
we woke up early in the morning to go for elephant tracking..
so. we ride those elephants for jungle tracking and to see the beach from the cliff..
and yes.. there are some scenery that is breath taking for me..
but unfortunately.. cant take some pics.
cause i was scared to death to let go my hands from the chair handle's and andreas's hand. HAHAHAHAHAH..

our elephant is like a mad raging elephant. hahahaha..
and its a male elephant..
it can go to the tip of the cliff and trying to go down to the beach..
it can put one of his legs up to another cliff and happily eat the banana tree..
*jadi modelnya pas dia angkat kaki depan.. kita otomatis. keblakang donkk..
yahh.. kyk modelnya sarung gajah duduk dehh.. ato polo shirt yg kuda.nya naeq..
gmn gw ga jantungann.. -_-..

it was more thrilling than universal. i can guarantee you.. *if u ride our elephants named captainn..
cause the other 2 elephants that fanie friska reza and veve ride were very calmed and we can see them enjoying the tracking..
ketika gw dan andreas seru sendiri d atas gajah kita..
sampe capeee.. -_-'
and we went for diner and watched local show named 'phuket fantasea'
the diner place is fabulous. its like a place meant for gala diner..
and this is the gate to enter the show.. cool huh? haha..
and all our phones and camera's should be keep at the counter.
so they gave us private lockers to put our things..

day 3
we went to phi phi island for sightseeing and snorkling..
it takes 50mins to go from phuket to phi2 island by speed boat.. *max 28people
or u can take bigger boat. but it will take u 2hours to travel there..

veve and friska got seasick and threw up in the speedboat..
it wasnt a good trip for both of themm..

luckily the rest of us are okay..

snorkling was fun.. and i can say that phi2 island is less polluted than bali. ahhaha
jernih mampus itu aer.. hahahaha..

so. we spend the whole day at the beaches.

* dan gw baru ngerasa sakitnya keterpa sama pasir.. gara2 anginnya super kenceng.
sumpa sakit dehh ga boonk.. kyk d tabokin pasir..

diner d pinggir jalan yg mayand enak juga..
namanya noodle's house d pinggir jalan andaman..
they have the best tom yum for our trip. ahhaha..

and me. ndreas. icha and reza went for massage
me went for foot spa and reflexology
and 3 of them were taking thai massage..

1hour for 400bath..
and it is very relaxing.. and we really love it..
i can recommend u the place..
its a decent place opposite SAVOEY restaurant

they wash our feet first before the massage.. hihihi..

day4..
nothing to do..
our flight was at 10pm.. =(..

so.. the total cost for this 4days is

return flight by air asia = 200 dollar
hotel ibis at patong beach for 3night = 65 dollar /personhttp://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=7455565527198319410
and 270 dollar for all the activities, lunches, diners, transport by tuk2 and van + jajan2. HAHAHAHAHA..

total = 535 dollar..

yesterday nite we were practicing for darwin chika's 2nd march in for their wedding in our church office called OHGS

when we finished everything. and about to lock every doors that we suppose to lock..
so. i suppose to lock everything first. before i lock the office.

and *drumrolllsss*

i locked the office first with all the keys inside. HAHAHAHAHAH..

so i cant lock the other doors..

we tried to break in with hair clip
but it did not work
we tried to call the locksmith.. but it cost us 100 buckss..

we tried to call everyone..
but no one could help.

finally..
we called ko CK..
and he has the duplicate for the office..

soo.. thankss to ko dachan who drive me to ko CK's house to took the keys and go back to OHGS..

*what a stressing and thrilling moment. hahahahaha..
